The Mason County Senior Activities Center serves as a welcoming hub for older adults in Shelton, Mason County, and surrounding communities, offering a wide range of programs, classes, and events that promote active engagement, social connection, and community involvement. As the senior population within our service area continues to grow, it is increasingly important to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving needs of older adults in our community.
To respond effectively, we must identify and implement strategies that address these changing needs. Community engagement and outreach will be central to this effort. Through intentional outreach, the Mason County Senior Activities Center can strengthen its understanding of the community it serves, listen directly to seniors’ perspectives, and identify both opportunities and challenges—ensuring Shelton and Mason County remain supportive, inclusive places to live and age well.
