Yellow Rose Society

The Mason County Senior Activities Association’s “Yellow Rose Society” offers you the opportunity to join others who have made a charitable contribution to the Senior Center through a bequest or estate plan. Remembering the Center through a planned gift ensures that our programs and services remain viable for years to come while advancing your own financial plan.
Bequests

About bequests

You may be looking for a way to make a significant gift to help further our mission. A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support the Senior Center.

What are the benefits of making a bequest?
1.      You leave a lasting legacy to be remembered
2.      You lessen the burden of taxes on your family
3.      You may receive estate tax savings

How do I make a bequest?
A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift be made to family, friends or the Mason County Senior Activities Association (Tax ID 91-1150971) as part of your estate plan.
What are my options?

A bequest can be made in several ways:
1.      You can gift a specific dollar amount or asset
2.      You can gift a percentage of your estate
3.      You can gift from the balance or residue of your estate
4.      You can make a beneficiary designation of certain assets
If you have already included the Senior Center in your estate plans, please fill out one of our planned giving commitment forms, so that we know how to acknowledge you.

Thank you in advance.  The Senior Center, Nifty Thrifty and the Pavilion are better places because of you.

MCSAA's Weather Policy
When inclement weather hits our area, KMAS Radio (1030AM) announces any adjusted hours. MCSAA follows the Shelton School District's schedule. If they close, we close; if they have a delayed start, we will too. Closings are also announced online at MasonCountyDailyNews.com & Shelton School District \

Beyond the local news, we use two other forms of communication to let members know if we will be closed.  We send out a robo-call, using our regular telephone number and a robo-text using the number 1-855-376-6215.
